Clermont County Farmers Eligible to Apply for Emergency Loans

This summer has brought exceptional heat and drought conditions throughout the state. Unfortunately, this affects many Ohioans, including our farmers who are about to harvest their crops.

Agriculture is the backbone of our state and Ohio’s farmers contribute to feeding America. We must help them succeed.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has named 22 Ohio counites as natural disaster areas. Farmers in these counties and their 18 neighboring counties are eligible to apply for emergency loans.

In the 14th District, these counties include:

• Adams
• Brown
• Scioto

These loans can help cover the cost of recovery, such as replacing essential items. The deadline to apply is April 28, 2025.
